It gives visitors a glimpse of distant galaxies, tells us the story of the birth of our solar system, and guides us through the history of space exploration.
We explore the cosmic forces influencing our planet in a highly interactive setting. Why do the seasons take place? What effects do axial tilt and eccentric orbit have on the Earth? At the touch of a button, the Vision Globe, a spherical projection screen, is transformed into the sun or its eight planets, providing striking images of sunspots, the craggy, crater-studded surface of Mercury, and the cyclone on Jupiter. On the Planet-Scale, we can find our ideal weight.
